PIC BY NOAH GOODRICH / CATERS NEWS – Ruth Holroyd, pictured, always has a good excuse for not hitting the gym – because she’s allergic to EXERCISE. She has a rare condition that means any form of exercise – even something as simple as running up the stairs – could kill her. The 37-year-old has already come close to death three times – after going for brisk walks that triggered severe allergic reactions. Ruth, a self-employed marketing manager, suffers from Exercise-Induced Anaphylaxis (EIA), meaning that an increased heart rate can lead to a near-fatal allergic reaction. SEE CATERS COPY.
